Manager, Third Party Risk Management – Governance, Global Risk Management

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Third Party Risk Management Program by supporting the implementation of the 2nd line interaction model as required by the TPRM Program, and in line with the Bank’s risk appetite and regulatory expectations. As part of the TPRM Governance team, the incumbent is responsible for enabling a TPRM Program that is consistent across the organization, and overseeing the Third Party risk profile of the Bank; by working in collaboration with the local 2nd line (Operational Risk) in country, she/he will engage with our partners in country and other key stakeholders to adopt appropriate direction and behaviors regarding Third Party Risk.




  • Interact with local 2nd lines/CROs, in-country or per region, including in US, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific, during the TPRM lifecycle, providing consistency, support and collaboration regarding the new elements of the Program.
  • Support formal adoption of the Program by the countries or adaptation through addendum/local documents, providing formal Advice & Counsel to local elements and exceptions.
  • Oversee adherence to the Bank’s risk appetite against the TPRM Program at the local level, by managing KRIs and concentration risks in line with the TPRM Risk Appetite.
  • Facilitate the coordination, exchange and discussion around 2nd line executive. management reporting, between Global TPRM and local 2nd lines, as well as annual enterprise-wide reports mandated by regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of the TPRM Governance role during the risk acceptance process for concurrence and awareness to global committees, when applicable.
  • Manage large scale projects from an implementation perspective.
  • Support maintenance of TPRM library, including review, socialization and rollout standards and related documents.
  • Collaborate with global training and communication at the 2nd line of defense level, as well as distribution of best practice.
  • Coordinate with TPRM Operations in matters that may impact the execution of the Program.


Education / Experience


  • Background in Business Administration, Law or a related discipline. MBA, PMP and/or CRM an asset but not mandatory.
  • 5 years of experience within the financial industry, consulting or related; preferred experience in Risk Management and Project Management.
  • Experienced in roles demanding critical thinking and relationship management, excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder management/communication.
  • Spanish preferred.
