Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll join our Personal Banking Products team reporting to the Director, Auto Lending. As a Senior Product Manager is accountable for the auto lending program design, product enhancement/development, pricing and reporting needs of the Auto Lending business; optimizing portfolio profitability, along with continuous market scoping and use of advanced analytics to identify opportunities cost savings.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Pricing Strategy – Support the revenue and volume growth for auto lending products influencing CIBCs strategic decisions on rates and fees through competitive market scoping and leveraging industry data to support recommended changes to our pricing strategy with car dealerships
  • Daily Operations and Account Management – Liaising with Retail Operations, Corporate Security, Fraud, Recovery/Collections on ongoing investigations.
  • Reporting – Develop and circulate management monthly reports, dashboards, presentation decks and partner with Finance in business and profit planning on an annual and quarterly basis 
  • Relationship Management – Establish internal and external networks in order to influence the group’s direction and support for delivering on the product roadmap

Who You Are

  • You have excellent Business acumen with a proficient understanding of financial statements, excellent communication and presentation skills and an experienced user with Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a flexible style to lead, motivate, and influence all levels of decision makers, clients and team members. Ability to adapt to conflicting priorities, roadblocks, and change demonstrating superior negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
