Administrative Assistant- Property Management


This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 3, 2020.

Do you have experience as an Administrative Assistant? Are you interested in working in the not-for-profit space or have previous experience working with not-for-profits? Our client, a well known NGO, is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to work within the Property Management department on a contract to permanent basis.

What to expect in this role:

– Responsible for providing administrative support to the office/ department with tasks such as distributing mail, memos, letters, faxes and forms, attending to email inquiries and distributing to the right parties
– Assist in preparing scheduled reports and coordinating flow of information for programs and important projects
– Oversee quality of all contracts to ensure they are compliant with municipal standards
– Ensure property is AODA compliant and following Toronto property related compliance standards
– Responsible for ordering the necessary supplies, inventory management
– other Administrative tasks as needed

What you bring to the table:

-Minimum 2 years of previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position
-Experience in property management or in a coordinator level role where you are able to juggle multiple tasks at once
-Proficiency using MS Office software and tech savvy/ can easily learn new ones
-Proven organization and time management skills
-Impeccable attention to detail and problem solving- think outside the box and be resourceful!
-Strong ability to collaborate but make independent judgement calls and work independently
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Experience working in a non-for profit is considered an asset
