In this exciting role, you will be reporting to the Manager, Compliance Governance, and will be responsible for executing client’s Compliance Monitoring & Testing (M&T) and Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) Programs in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

TalentWorld is recruiting a Contract Compliance Analyst for one of its clients in Toronto.

Compliance Analyst Responsibilities Conduct second line compliance Monitoring & Testing as outlined by the Compliance M&T Program Plan and conduct Compliance Testing to assess the effectiveness of the Bank’s policies and procedures in accordance with the regulatory requirements and identify potential compliance gaps Issues alignment with the stakeholders and conclude with a clear plan of action for all agreed upon issues Track, assess and report on the status of remedial actions until resolved/ concluded Assist Manager, Compliance with Compliance Risk Management Program, more specifically in areas like mapping of applicable laws to Lines of Businesses, to Processes and mapping of Policies and Procedures Liaise as required with other staff and control functions, including Internal Audit, Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Compliance Risk Management, other Compliance functions/resources.

Participate as required in projects and strategic initiatives representing Canada Compliance to strengthen the compliance framework Assist Manager, Compliance in developing and presenting reports at multiple levels within the organization Compliance Analyst Qualifications University degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience Minimum 2 years’ experience related to following functional areas: audit, regulatory compliance, and risk & associated controls management Must have at least two of the following functional areas: Regulatory Compliance, controls, risk management, second line testing, audit experience, working knowledge of financial services Experience in managing & driving regulatory reviews and internal audits by coordinating efforts across multiple lines of business and functional work group Compliance and regulatory knowledge are essential with an ability to understand implication of regulatory requirements on business processes Advanced analytical skills and proven ability to interact with all levels of management Exhibit strong planning, organizational skills and have solid problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to translate complex information into comprehensive and concise test results and recommendations) Ability to manage projects that are of diverse scope, complexity and require significant initiative and judgement Self-motivated team player with an ability to lead wherever needed Interested in the Compliance Analyst role in Toronto?
