Recruiting Advisor

Recruiting Advisor Profile GardaWorld is currently seeking an experienced Recruiting Advisor to join our growing team As a member of the Recruiting team, you will be responsible for attracting and hiring the best employees to be deployed to our client sites across the province to provide Security Services.

In this role, you will work with in partnership with Account Managers to understand role and site-specific requirements to successfully fill open requisitions and prepare for future staffing needs.

Excellent communication skills paired with strong listening skills are a requirement to effectively screen and hire suitable employees.

Our ideal candidate for this role has previous experience with high volume recruitment and takes pride in providing an exceptional experience to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

What you’ll be doing
• Actively participate in discussions related to open roles and gain a clear understanding of specific requirements
• Update the Open Requisition Report in real-time ensuring that positions are added or removed as they are opened or filled
• Build applicant pipeline using a variety of channels including posting to job boards, community colleges, employment agencies, job fairs, social media, online databases, and any other relevant sources
• Review incoming applications for suitable qualifications, experience, and valid licensing
• Determine applicant eligibility by conducting an initial phone screen to ensure candidate meets the minimum job requirements
• Schedule face to face interviews with qualified candidates in a timely manner
• Ensure that all new hires complete online onboarding and confirming all documents are complete and signed
• Conduct face to face interviews to determine job fit, communication skills and schedule availability
• Coordinate client meet and greets by partnering with Account Manager
• Partner with the Scheduling department to identify a suitable work schedule for the new hire
• Ensure new hires are uniformed correctly, including the proper style, badging and accessories What we’re looking for
• 2 years of experience in a high-volume recruitment position
• Proven ability to meet targets, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative, as is the ability to be able to use own initiative and judgment
• Team player with a solutions-oriented approach to solving problems
• Excellent communication skills
– written and verbal TOR20
