What will your typical day look like?

 

 

Negotiating complex multi-country contracts with our clients quickly and effectively is highly challenging; and critical to our success. It is a necessary step to unlocking major opportunities, and enabling Deloitte’s continuing growth. Our Global Easier Contract Negotiations Managers play a vital role in meeting this challenge; driving the successful completion of negotiations for global master services agreements (MSAs) or other complex deals. As the project manager of the negotiations, the Contract Negotiation Manager is a partner to our Global Lead Client Service Partners (GLCSPs), the lead negotiator and other contracting resources. The client negotiations often involve most or all our services across multiple countries, which may have different legal systems and regulations and be served by different Deloitte member firms.

 

  • Manage successfully global contract negotiations by playing a coordination role between all Deloitte internal parties involved.
    • Main activities include but are not limited to:◦ Triage Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) global contracting requests
    • Proactively coordinate the global contract negotiation to closure, alongside lead negotiator, ensure timely responses to issues, including prompt and appropriate escalation of any unresolved issues.
    • Collaborate with other global Easier team members, enabling all team members for success
  • Support, as able, the GCC team on a variety of special and ongoing projects related to GCC’s wider role to manage our network and improve the quality and speed of global client contracting. Take the lead and drive assigned projects.
  • Stay current on Deloitte Member Firms, services offered, unique contracting requirements, and emerging issues/trends

    You are someone with:

     

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services, demonstrating a strong client service mindset and related competencies (e.g., focus client impact, effective communications with all levels of organization, etc.)
    • Demonstrated project management experience in high pressure environment where the development of long-term, sustainable relationships is paramount
    • Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines
