If so read on about our exciting new opportunity as a: Senior Graphic Designer Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Senior Designer will collaborate closely with marketing colleagues, internal clients and external partners in the development of solutions for digital and print design projects.

The Senior Graphic Designer is a key contributor to the conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet the marketing and business strategies from concept to completion.

The incumbent will play a key role on large projects and may support others in creating concepts, layouts and final artwork.

Duties & Responsibilities Create quality resources (e.g., print, digital, presentations, private branded collateral for B2B and B2C, animated videos) required to support the sales, marketing, corporate departmental initiatives/projects which contributes to the brand image of East Penn Canada both internally and externally Conceptualize, plan, design and produce a wide range of specialized graphic, typesetting and/or illustrative material to include multimedia concepts, including writing and or editing basic copy Identify needs to develop graphic direction, concepts and specifications for assigned projects in partnership with marketing team members, third party partners and internal /external customers.

Present concepts and designs to various levels of individuals within and outside of the organization Oversee and/or support the development of the creative services process and methodology Manage and oversee the delivery of all assigned projects by delivery projects on budget, on time and within scope.

This also includes providing non-creative marketing support as required (administration, assembly, printing, shipping etc.) and maintain files for all creative assets and resources Work with suppliers (e.g., outside printers) to produce high quality final products Conduct or support photography shoots for use in marketing materials Maintain and/or improve internal studio systems and general studio organization Research and source reference materials, establish competitive benchmarking from various categories (including our industry) to better understand marketing communication dynamics and leveraging components into our creative process/design Share and/or support other marketing team members or internal/external stakeholders including offering expertise where appropriate Experience, Skills & Competencies Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or related discipline.

5 to 7 years direct experience in creative development and execution – working in both digital and print design, in B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C (Business-to-Consumer) environments Proven ability to create new original designs and to deliver engaging creative
– on time and on budget, in corporate marketing and/or agency environments Strong knowledge of corporate branding, digital media and colour theory Must have some photography experience Experience in multiple communication channels, including branding, package design, retail/POP/POS, advertising, promotions, direct marketing, and digital marketing (web, social media, SEO/SEM) In-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of pre-press requirements and preparation, production technology/formats/web/postal regulations, and file formats for final print output Advance experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver/Adobe Go Live, FTP and HTML/CSS on a Mac or PC platform Strong experience with MS Office Suites (PowerPoint/KeyNote, Excel, MS Word, Sharepoint, Sway) on a Mac or PC platform Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), logs, wikis, social marketing tools, RSS feeds Strong creative and analytical skills with ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively.

This includes the willingness and ability to successfully incorporate direction and feedback from multiple sources Excellent creative and conceptualization skills in order to initiate creative concepts, translate into visual finished products, and coordinate across all channels Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and interact effectively at all levels of the organization, and to take complex information and present it in a structured fashion for easier user understanding.

Strong organization skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Working or basic knowledge of motion graphics,3D design/modelling and associated programs (e.g.

After Effects) is considered an asset An understanding of capabilities and limitations of web/interaction design and technology (desktop, mobile and tablet) including best practices and asset creation is considered an asset Experience in automotive after-market or industrial/manufacturing verticals is an asset Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset Other Considerations Background checks including criminal checks and employment references will be requested.
