We currently have a Regular Full-time opportunity available for a Clinical Dietitian in our RCC Church department at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. 

Summary of Duties

Provides nutritional management of patients at the Humber Site in accordance with the Clinical Nutrition Standards of Practice and the principles of person-centred care. The successful candidate will provide nutrition care in two inpatient units, supported by a diet technician. The successful candidate will participate in the advancement of patient care through professional, unit-based and organizational committees, quality initiatives and practice-based research, and interprofessional rounds. The candidate will also participate in the education of dietetic interns and other students as applicable.


  • Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO) required
  • Recent, related experience in general medicine, long term care or with alternate level of care patients required
  • Proficiency in nutritional assessment and care
  • Experience assessing, implementing and managing enteral nutrition and therapeutic diets required
  • Ability to work independently is essential
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of the interprofessional team
  • Experience in providing patient/family education required
  • Demonstrated initiative, teamwork and ability to effectively prioritize work required
  • Demonstrated effective communication and collaboration skills required
  • Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice required
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development required
