We currently have a Student Part-Time (Until approx. August 2022) opportunity for a VCoP Facilitator – North & East GTA Stroke Network in the Regional Stroke department at our Bayview campus.

Hours of Work:

Weekdays: Days; 8hrs; As per schedule

Summary of Duties

This role within the Toronto Stroke Networks (TSNs) will be responsible for:

  • Facilitation of the TSNs’ VCoP including linking members with similar interests, prompting responses to inquiries, posting resources and research articles for discussion, and weekly e-mail blasts to members.
  • Working with the TSNs team to identify priority areas for discussion and creating appropriate discussion forums and groups for collaborative learning.
  • Working with the TSNs team and web developer as needed to identify opportunities for further development of the VCoP.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate other forms of social media (e.g. Twitter) into the VCoP and potentially facilitate these media as needed.
  • Prepare weekly communications to VCoP members.
  • Management of the TSNs performance and reporting tool on the VCoP
  • Collaboration with the TSNs team to support best practice initiatives


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong background in computer technology especially use of virtual technology and social media. Word Press experience an asset.
  • Proven facilitation skills (ability to propose ideas, engage groups and committees in discussion, and link individuals to support successful networking).
  • Experience in analysis of website metrics and ability to suggest improvement strategies related to this data.
  • Experience with data management is an asset
