Job Description

Reporting to AVP, Global HR Strategy & Transformation, the Director, HR Projects is a strong contributor who thrives in a fast-paced, vibrant environment, a leader with a strong strategic knowledge of both HR & Finance, business acumen, excellent communication/relationship skills and the relevant background in HR, Finance, & Project Management with an operational and analytical orientation.

Who You Are

A Strategist:

  • Partner with the Finance team to oversee and manage Global HR & Communication Budget

  • Define and implement global budgetary policies to streamline budget process and effectiveness

  • Develop financial scenarios, templates and tools to assist leaders in managing budgets and deliver on strategic requirements

  • Proactively quantify issues and evaluate alternative scenarios related to our future budgetary demands & strategic priorities

An Advisor:

  • As a key member of the Strategy & Transformation team, drive and implement leading practices, bringing thought leadership, and subject matter expertise to key partners (HR & Communications Leadership & Finance, among others)

  • Provide assessments of financial trends, and the impact of strategic business decisions on the budget

  • Take ownership by driving innovation and continuous learning to proactively tackle disruptors

  • Understand effective governance and facilitate processes to ensure sound decision making;

  • Build and maintain relationships of trusts with clients, peers and staff members, sharing knowledge and expertise freely to facilitate and support the achievement of purpose

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and HR data privacy policy

  • Collaborate with geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams

Business Outcome-Focused:

  • Work with the Finance and HR & Communication leadership teams to develop enhanced budget capabilities and identify opportunities to drive HR strategy

  • Build reports to enable Global HR and Communications make evidence-based decisions

  • Use data and formal measurement tools to track the performance impact of the solutions you’ve developed on business outcomes

  • Continuously improves and adapts services/offerings to meet the changing requirements of our business and of our customers

  • Provide input for quarterly and annual business planning, and outlines any financial and strategic implications or considerations

Experience needed:

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in rapidly growing, fast-changing, highly collaborative partnering environments.

  • A minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in the field of HR, working in strategic and operational capacities for complex global organizations

  • Experience partnering with the broader HR team, finance, risk and PMOs

  • Track record of developing creative and efficient solutions to support an entrepreneurial, results-oriented function

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as experience in presenting and interacting with senior leadership

  • Excellent project management skills and proven experience of working at both a strategic and operational level

  • Strong technical skills (Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel, other analytical / BI tools), as well as experience working with large and complex datasets
