Director of UX


This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted November 3, 2020.

Our client is looking to bring in an experience UX Director About Our Candidate: The Director of User Experience will report to the Vice President of Product Management and be responsible for delivering a world-class digital experience that maximizes engagement, reduces friction and adds convenience.

This business minded, creative and strategic leadership position requires digital, mobile, and creative direction capabilities to ensure a consistent experience throughout all customer journeys.

Our ideal candidate will have managed design for a top online presence and have a track record for delivering bar-raising digital work.

You have extensive experience researching, concepting, developing, and producing web designs and creative assets.

Expertise in modern web standards and responsive/ mobile app design practices is a must.

Using customer feedback, data and analytics to guide design decisions is a must.

Previous experience in A/B testing is a requirement.

You are passionate about growing your team and have experience mentoring and developing people.

As a business minded creative leader, you will work alongside your director and manager counterparts in the UX, Product Management, Engineering and Marketing departments (and others) to guide teams to deliver thoughtful, scalable, and delightful solutions.

You will help shape teams by coaching and mentoring designers in creating workflows, interactions, interfaces, research plans, and other deliverables.
