We are looking for a highly motivated Integration Developer to join the Oxford Leasing Technology team in Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of critical systems that exchange data between existing Oxford corporate systems as well as third party Software-as-a-Service platforms. You will be part of a team that is at the centre of figuring out how to integrate these new platforms into our existing set of enterprise applications. Your work will be a mix of API programing to connect different systems and ETL development to keep our data moving. In Global Applications Technology and Integrations, you will work doing hands on integration and application development, performing unit tests, and creating technical artifacts. You will maintain the existing Oxford applications and their integrations to guarantee the SLA agreements in place with lines of business.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing solutions integrating applications, systems or platforms, cloud or on-premise
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes for data integration and data warehouse loading and data exchange between heterogeneous database platform and data sources to ensure data integrity in the enterprise.
• Developing solutions that leverage SaaS APIs to integrate their functionality into our existing mix of applications and platforms.
• Building APIs for integration layer to access different backend system and cloud environment
• Designing data structures and developing data integration processes, ensuring they meet solution requirements.
• Understanding data lineage and governance for different data sources. Maintaining clean and consistent access to all our data sources
• Collaborating with the Integration Architects, Technical Leads and Technical BAs in Global Application Technology towards finding creative solutions to reduce technical debt, address currency issues and implement best integrations and data solutions following Oxford EA established patterns and practices and industry best patterns and practices standards
• Migrating the ETL codebase such as SSIS packages from On-premise to Cloud Architecture
• Understanding Oxford Technology landscape and assisting development teams in developing Integration and data related solutions when required
• Building custom applications on PowerApps platform
• Looking for new opportunities to reimagine existing custom-built applications as a set of Azure hosted APIs to be used by other applications, Oxford websites, and 3rd party SaaS solutions. – Supporting data analysis, data profiling, data quality processes.
• Creating integration test specifications, conducting tests, diagnosing faults, and producing system integration reports.
• Creating business and health Dashboards on PowerBi
• Supporting other developers to build and refine complex queries and database schemas.
• Providing support for critical production systems by independently analyzing and solving issues in real time.
• Sharing domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
• Creating and maintaining appropriate reference documentation for development teams as per Oxford standards
• Mentoring team members in best patterns and practices for data and Integration

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A passion for new technologies and solving business problems
• A shown background working with the Microsoft set of tools (ex. Visual Studio, C#, Azure DevOps, MS SQL server, Azure Functions, Azure SQL databases)
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs utilizing JSON and XML data exchanges
• Experience developing SQL Server Integration Services packages (ideally, also experience with Informatica and/or MuleSoft)
• Knowledge of Power Shell
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experience using Microsoft Azure SQL Database or Managed Instances
• Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
• Ability to create technical documentation and specs
• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent
