Intern – Programmer Analyst, Investment IT Architecture (4 month contract)

Do you want to experiment with Azure cloud, Microservice Architecture, Kubernetes, advanced virtual networking, and software defined infrastructure?

Enhance your skills in microservices and cloud architecture. Explore, research, build, and evaluate solution prototypes based on various technologies and patterns. Join our team and develop your skills in advanced application architecture and cloud computing

Who you’ll work with

You will be a member of the IT Architecture team. We are a small team of experienced IT professionals that work with all areas of the business and the forefront of innovation initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll explore new technologies and patterns related to microservice architecture and containerized applications
  • In our Azure cloud lab you’ll have the freedom to manage your own infrastructure resources
  • Create microservices in C# and Python, package them into container images and use container registry
  • Deploy Kubernetes clusters and containerized apps in Azure cloud
  • Explore Kubernetes networking and various integration patterns with microservices
  • Experiment with virtual networking, routing, infrastructure as code to create reusable building blocks   
  • You’ll be expected to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Finally, you’ll be responsible for documenting and presenting your research

What you’ll need

  • Working towards Degree in Computer Science
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Introductory knowledge of Cloud platform (Azure, AWS, etc…)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience working with Python, C#, .Net Core, web development
  • Experience with Flask and ASP.Net Core Web API
  • Experience working with virtual networks is an asset
  • Understanding of Microservice Architecture
  • You should enjoy doing research, solving hard problems, working with new technologies, being a good team player
