The Product Manager will be an integral part of the General and Advanced Diagnostics Genetics group at LifeLabs and will drive growth for the products under their responsibility. The Product Manager will launch, implement, manage, track performance and grow genetic services/products in close collaboration with team members.
A successful LifeLabs Genetics Product Manager will have strong background knowledge in genetics, M.Sc or Ph.D. In addition to understanding the science and technology behind genetics products, the Product Manager will understand the clients’ needs and will be able to link both into growth opportunities. The incumbent will be a creative problem solver and a dynamic leader focused on results.
By developing a deep understanding of the market and clients’ needs, the Product Manager will drive the evolution and the implementation of product strategies in order to accelerate growth and gain market shares. The Product Manager is responsible to design and execute the yearly product strategy (Business Plan), including marketing campaigns, training and clients on-boarding.
The Product Manager interacts closely with cross-functional teams at LifeLabs (marketing, sales, operations, medical and business intelligence) in order to drive success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sciences and genetics, experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales, experienced in business casing, marketing and project management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Execute and measure
Identifying clear value for the customer to support effective sales & marketing campaigns
Ensure all commercial requirements are clearly understood to ensure lab operation initiatives are linked to business growth
Acting as an SME to support sales in converting prospects to clients (physicians, corporation, hospitals)
