Senior Salesforce Developer

As the Salesforce Developer you will be tasked with providing consistent client support throughout the implementation lifecycle. You will provide a balance of functional and technical expertise and support the Solution Architect in facilitation of analysis and design sessions with the client. You will implement the design using Salesforce declarative configuration and supporting the functional requirements for any further development required outside of declarative configuration.

You will present complex information equally well to a leadership audience or a developer community, and demonstrate hands on experience implementing functionality, while acting as a knowledgeable liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders during the implementation phase.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Significant involvement in the Analysis phases of the implementation, collecting and documenting functional requirements, and understanding and possibly re-defining business process based on the capabilities of the platform
• Building and supporting solutions on the Salesforce Platform for multiple lines of business.
• Working with Developers, Product Managers and Scrum Masters to plan implementation activities. Inform the Project Manager of any issues that might affect the project
• Contributing to designing and documenting end-to-end functional and technical designs
• Maintaining Salesforce best practices in terms of implementation and coding standards (versioning, quality, branches and merging, Test Coverage), Configurations etc.
• Providing prompt and complete resolution to functional challenges and business issues.
• Effective co-ordination with other team members and business team to plan and execute the implementation
• Successful completion of unit and functional testing as well as all supporting documentation required for the Validation phase (i.e. test plans, test scripts)
• Supporting the client through User Acceptance Testing and any support for defect management during UAT process
• All aspects of Deployment phase including migration of configuration/code, production data migration, and interface go-live
• The creation of end user and administrator training material, as well as potentially delivering end user training

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A University degree in the field of Information Technology or equivalent related job experience
• 4-7 years experience
• An understanding of the following CRM Business Processes (Sales, Marketing Automation and Strategy, Service/Call Center, Custom Application Development using the Salesforce platform)
• Experience working on Agile Product teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to set priorities, manage time and work with minimal supervision
• A drive to achieve results and continuously strive to deliver the highest performance through creative thinking
• The ability to thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt
• The ability to embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment
• Knowledge of the following CRM Business Processes (Sales, Marketing Automation and Strategy, Service/Call Center, Custom Application Development using the Salesforce platform)
• One of the following certifications: Certified Platform developer 2, Certified Sales cloud
• Experience and knowledge with Salesforce Communities
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning- building Lightning Components, good understanding of the aura framework, LWC
• An understanding of Salesforce integration is Must – Apex Callouts, SOAP/REST APIs, ETL experience preferred
• Experience in Project Planning, estimating time and effort is highly preferred
