ServiceNow Consultant

As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a ServiceNow Consultant, you directly help clients transform their customer service model and solve complex service problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver tailored solutions using your knowledge of ServiceNow and IBM platforms. You are a solution leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM’s ServiceNow business is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a new leader to drive this growth. As a ServiceNow Consultant, you will be responsible for leading implementations to our top national and international clients. You will provide thought leadership, review and advice on the solution and integration within ServiceNow modules, and 3rd Party solutions, and build new methods and tools to be used across all our projects. As a member of our larger IBM ServiceNow practice, you will be able work with the industry’s best, and further hone your expertise in ServiceNow, along our Digital Change, Digital Reinvention and Cognitive solutions.

Responsibilities for the ServiceNow Lead

  • The consultant will configure ServiceNow, as well as assist clients in the selection, implementation planning, fit analysis, testing, rollout and post-implementation support of ServiceNow applications
  • Support in analyzing workflows and present solution possibilities
  • Configuration of functionalities according to the best process & practices
  • Serve as a highly technical skilled specialist resource within the ServiceNow domain to provide support on all the ServiceNow capability and modules
  • Provide effective concise, timely, and consistent verbal and written communications to peers, customers, and management
  • Establish and maintain documentation regarding standards and policies surrounding administration & development of ServiceNow as it applies to best practice industry standards

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • 1 or more of
    • CSM Implementation Specialist
    • ITSM Implementation Specialist
    • ITBM Implementation Specialist
    • GRC Implementation Specialist
    • SecOps Implementation Specialist
    • HRSD Implementation Specialist
  • 2 or more full life cycle implementations of any of the above
  • Experience of developing using Javascript, XML, AngularJS
  • Admin and Development experience on ServiceNow Modules
  • Experience with ServiceNow development/configuration/customization/enhancements
  • Experience working on upgrades

  • Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    • ServiceNow Application Developer Certification
    • Bilingual (Eng / French)
    • Agile experience and methodology
    • Experience working with a global team
