As a member of the Managed Assets team, the Analyst will primarily facilitate a high level client service and reporting support to clients and prospects. 

The position has an emphasis on coordinating the delivery of reports, presentations and other materials to existing clients or to support business development efforts. The position includes contact with external clients and internal partners to gather and relay information. The Analyst may be designated as the point of contact in the absence of the other team members.

 

Major Accountabilities:

 

1.    Assist the Vice President in identifying potential new strategic partnership opportunities;

2.    Assist in the documentation of the Managed Asset landscape to establish areas of focus;

3.    Stay abreast of industry wide and asset management trends and events, sharing appropriate information with the Vice President;

4.    Respond to all inbound RFP / RFI queries in a timely and professional manner;

5.    Improve the proprietary database of information and responses used to complete RFIs and RFPs which are used with existing and prospective clients.

6.    Coordinate ongoing due diligence / monitoring meetings between portfolio managers and existing and potential new clients;

7.    Maintain strong relationships with internal departments to expedite service requests for existing clients and prospects.

 

Education/Designations/Experience

 

•    University Degree (Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance)
•    Completion of industry recognized professional designations (CIM, CFA, CIPM, FRM, CAIA).
•    Five or more years’ experience in the asset management industry, with the majority of this time in the institutional or high net worth market segments.
•    Demonstrated understanding of financial markets, investments and the needs of institutional level investors.
•    Very comfortable with technology, an above average proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point).  
•    Strong writing, interpersonal, problem solving and resource management skills.
•    Attention to detail, strong time management skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
•    High level of professionalism, able to work well under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities.
•    A self-starter who is equally comfortable working with cross departmental partners
