Job Description : What an exciting time to be joining the Brand Marketing team for Canada’s leading Home Improvement retailer As part of the rapidly growing and highly capable Brand Marketing team, you will join in a pivotal time of growth.

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation and planning support for marketing activities for the Brand team which includes the brand, regional, workshops, credit and event portfolios.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless delivery of an interconnected, personalized experience across all Brand Marketing portfolios .

Position Responsibilities: In support of marketing planning, provide necessary inputs to Marketing Manager including: consumer insights, competitive data, and sales analysis.

Responsible for functional execution of integrated marketing programs for brand, regional, workshops, credit and event portfolios Implementation and communication of business specific marketing plans to cross functional teams (merchandising, advertising, operations, etc.) and act as the main point of contact for all advertising production.

The Marketing Specialist will leverage their strong project management skills to lead the implementation of the marketing plan cross-functionally Ensure successful execution of communications for both internal and external audiences Integrate post event analysis & recommendations into future planning Developing test plans to continuously optimize and maximize business results Maintain annual marketing and advertising calendar and supporting materials Collaborate with key cross-functional teams such as Merch Marketing, Customer Insights, eCommerce, Planning, Production and Analytics teams to deliver against Contractor Services plans Experience / Knowledge Required: 3 years marketing/merchandising experience CRM Customer Marketing experience is an asset College/University degree or diploma Demonstrates a ‘one team’ attitude through efficient collaboration, building strong relationships, and sharing with peers cross-functional groups Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint Able to balance multiple priorities & manage time effectively Proven analytical skills, highly organized and strong attention to detail Results driven, self starter, takes initiative, and shows strong thought leadership Passion to learn, grow, and drive results Bilingual French/English would be an asset
