Media Performance Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Media Performance (Rogers Wireless), the Specialist, Media Performance  will play a supporting role in crafting a performance narrative for the Rogers wireless business guided by a breadth of performance reports from both internal teams & external agency partners. The successful candidate will help improve connections between Brand/Marketing budget and business outcomes. The Specialist, Media Performance will also lead a weekly media performance meeting designed to create visibility of campaign performance and drive ongoing media optimizations to improve business outcomes.

This position will be located in  Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is permanent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain necessary dashboard across multiple data sets to provide insight and drive business decisions.
  • Build measurement plans to define success of campaign outcome.
  • Perform ad hoc post-campaign analysis to help identify optimization opportunities for future campaigns.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders in post campaign evaluation of digital campaigns, including campaign targeting, tracking, monitoring, and management.
  • Identify performance trends across campaigns and channels. (offline/online)
  • Play a supporting role in developing new internal processes that enable Rogers lines of business to leverage efficiently AdTech implemented.
  • Support the development of learning agenda designed to solve new/existing business problems and influence ongoing media strategy across Rogers lines of business with findings.

WHO YOU ARE / WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising
  • 2+ years of experience interpreting media data & reporting on digital media performance
  • Ability to connect marketing and media data and derive actionable insights from it
  • A self-starter mentality, the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, work autonomously and multi-task under pressure
  • A proven track record of building positive and productive working relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external agency/vendor partners
  • A comfort with ambiguity
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge in analytics tools and digital media ad-platform (DCM, Google Ads, Business Manager, Twitter, etc.) and analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Google Analytics)
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Telecommunications or Media Agency experience is an asset
