Our client serves a global customer base of departments, military installations, institutions, corporate organizations and training companies.

Our client is hiring a Sewing Operator who will be responsible for creating quality garment pieces.

In the current context, we are now more than ever concerned about our candidates’ well-being.

They provide the protective equipment you will need and abide by physical distancing rules that will allow you to work safely.

The main tasks: Sew garments in accordance with job specifications.

Attach sewing machine work aid attachments like needles, threads, and adjust machine guides.

Meet deadlines by working to support the team and ensure products are made correctly, with good quality and meet production goals set by company standards.

Understand quality requirements and how this position affects quality: on time delivery to meet customer requirements.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Operate a single or two needle sewing machine and/or serger (will be taught to know how to prepare machine by changing needles, thread, oiling and changing bobbins, needle guards).

Assess the quality of garment pieces before sewing.

Follow guidelines and regulations.

Carry out other similar tasks.

Salary: Negotiable Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, full time Status: Permanent Requirements: Experience in sewing industry.
