We also take time to recognize each other and have fun SUMMARY OF THE POSITION Reporting to the Program Manager, the Team Lead will supervise the day-to-day delivery of high-quality services, staff orientation, quality management and performance improvement.

The Team Lead will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of a team of Coordinators and Life Skill Workers within the Program.

The Team Lead will supervise the delivery of programs for consumers, the carrying out of individualized support plans, the delivery of supportive counselling, crisis prevention and intervention, skills development (life skills, social skills, interpersonal and problem solving skills) and vocational and leisure support.

This individual will be involved in various interdepartmental and community committees to identify and provide comprehensive services.

The Team Lead will be required to work closely with management and other colleagues to assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of new policies, procedures and initiatives.

THIS IS TEMPORARY FULL TIME POSITION FOR 16-17MONTHS IN GUELPH HOURS OF WORK The Team Lead will work a thirty-five (35) hour week, the hours being flexible to the needs of the staff, consumers and the program.

The position will participate in the Agency’s on-call service rotation as Manager on-call.

• Mental health, addiction, or housing experience ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is required, including membership within a regulatory college.

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in the field of healthcare.

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working in mental health, addictions or supportive housing.

• Must be an energetic self-starter who is able to function comfortably in a team environment or independently and relates well to co-workers and the public.

• Ability to manage time and multiple tasks with little supervision.

• Strong organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and program execution skills.

• Above average writing ability; ability to analyze written reports, complex documents and publications.

• Ability to support performance management and improvement as needed.

• High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.

• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and ability to execute on decisions made.

• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, relevant insurance and use of a reliable vehicle.

• Able to successfully complete and provide a current Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
