Estate Planning Associate (Contract)

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted April 28, 2021.

 

What is the opportunity?

 

You will provide support to a team that helps our DS Investment Advisors, PH&N Investment Counsellors and our clients with insurance quotations, new policy applications and servicing of in-force policies. Your role on the team is to ensure new business is processed quickly and efficiently and to achieve business growth for a successful team.

Please note: This role will be working from home at present, but in future will return to the office located at 200 Bay Street.

 

What will you do?

 

  • Preparing quotations on various Insurance products
  • Meeting and file preparation
  • Processing new business through the underwriting process to contract issue
  • Maintenance of inforce block of business
  • Develop relationships with partnering life company wholesalers, case coordinators and underwriters to ensure the business is handled efficiently
  • Provide exceptional client service

 

What do you need to succeed?

 

Must-have

  • Minimum 5  years’ experience working in an Insurance Agency or equivalent role within the industry
  • Life Insurance Licensed, LLQP preferred
  • Knowledge of Life and Living Benefits insurance products
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Experience with meeting tight deadlines & set priorities; ability to work independently
  • Strong Microsoft office and Excel skills 

Nice-to-have

  • Post-secondary degree considered an asset
  • Experience with high net worth clients
