Job Summary: Our Vancouver security branch is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to provide customer service and develop new business opportunities while providing exceptional service to existing dealers.

The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional selling Security products and solutions to professional security dealer.

Job duties Identify potential dealers and develop and implement a detailed account strategy for each of them Uncover new opportunities and expand your contacts within existing accounts Successfully manage the sales process; from lead generation, solution pitch, negotiation, closing the order and providing post sales support Responsible for new and existing business.

You are expected to be autonomous however you will work in close collaboration with your supervisor for complex pitches and strategies Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is up to date using our software Respond to quotations and requests for information in a timely manner Other duties and tasks, as assigned Job Requirements : Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate for this position will possess: Experience & Education: 2-5 Years of Sales and/or product distribution experience in the Security Industry Security system design experience would be beneficial Job-specific knowledge: Good knowledge of CCTV, intrusion and access control products (preferred) Good knowledge of AV (preferred) MS Office (required) Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written (required) Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (customer-centric) Ability to build a strong rapport with dealers Strong problem solving and listening skills Understands the consultative sell and is inquisitive Excellent decision-making abilities Strong organization and planning skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Results oriented Great sense of initiative and leadership Demonstrated professionalism in verbal in written communication We are grateful for your interest in Anixter; however only the candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
