We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Advanced Video Products to help lead the product and go-to-market strategy in the advanced video advertising space.

The successful candidate will help to build and implement strategy across our video ad products, including online video, connected TV/OTT, and broadcast automation (Cynch). In this role, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for identifying business opportunities, evaluating various partnerships, and making key recommendations as we execute on the strategy and inform the vision in this critical area of our advertising business. You will spend a significant portion of your time supporting RSM sales teams in a client-facing capacity to achieve revenue KPIs against our Advanced Video Products.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the centre of Rogers Media and Sportsnet’s strategy to leverage our unique data sets for the purpose of further improving the video ad experience for marketers and customers.

What you will do…

  • Support RSM sales teams to communicate product advancements and sales opportunities to customers
  • Define and execute Rogers’ Advanced TV go-to-market strategy across sales, business development and product requirements
  • Provide knowledge/analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes to enhance video ad products
  • Own the video ad product roadmap in partnership with the operations and data team
  • Work with the partner teams to scope new video sales partnership opportunities
  • Solicit feedback from marketers and agencies on the evolution of the video ad product set
  • Operate as both a senior individual contributor and cross-functional leader to meet and exceed revenue growth objectives for the Advanced TV business
  • Effectively communicate quarterly plans to all internal sales and platform divisions

What you will bring…

  • A proven ability to effectively communicate product features, advantages, and benefits to both clients and sales teams
  • An understanding of the TV digital video sales landscape in the Canadian market
  • An understanding of current and future trends in media measurement systems in Canada
  • Deep knowledge of how data can improve the customer and marketer experience
  • A demonstrated history of success in bringing a product to market
  • A drive to continuously establish and improve process through gathering and incorporating feedback from stakeholders
  • Proven success in senior product management roles
  • An ability to navigate large organizations and optimize for speed
