Your Role and Responsibilities
Background
IBM has a industry focused business unit called IBM Watson Health its focus is on health and human services customers around the world. This will use the software, services, hardware and research available across IBM. As we expand the global reach of this unit, an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Client Solution Professional to join this team at a very exciting period of growth.

General Summary:
The Watson Health Client Solution Professional plays a critical role in the generation of Cúram SPM product sales for Watson Care Manager and the Social Program Management Platform. The duties will focus on supporting the sales process using presentations, product demos and anchoring activity during the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and experience working with Health Care and/or Social Program organizations. Applicants should possess strong working knowledge of Java/JEE and have experience working with enterprise systems in the public sector space.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Works with the Sales team and wider IBM organisation to develop Cúram SPM software and services pipeline and increase market share.
  • Helps the seller to develop the appropriate strategic and tactical plans required to grow and strengthen Cúram software and Services in the assigned marketplace
  • Promotes, sells and secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a consultancy-based selling approach.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

  • Detailed knowledge of Cúram SPM product and underlying technology solutions.
  • Build a high level of trust and confidence with IBM Sellers, Partners and Customers in relation to their knowledge of the business issues at hand and of Cúram and the proposed solutions.
  • Leads sales engagements from a product, technology and solution perspective
  • Articulate the value of the Cúram solution to IBM Sellers, Partners and Customers and effectively differentiates Cúram’s offerings from the competition through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Knowledge of Health care and Social Programs in the local geography market. ·
  • Sales Skills – able to construct and deliver sales messages specific to an opportunity.
  • Ability to bring together technical and functional attributes of product offering and convey them in a meaningful way to the prospective customer to differentiate the IBM offering.
  • Provider product, technology and subject matter expertise to the active tenders.

Must be eligible/legally entitled to work in Canada


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum of 5 years technical sales experience in the IT Sector preferably in an Health Care or Social Programs environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or similar field
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and the language of any local markets.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills, high levels of energy and enthusiasm to drive a business forward.
  • A team player that shares knowledge in order to jointly achieves the organizations sales targets.
  • Able to function well in a dynamic environment and be flexible in working hours and travelling.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of the Cúram SPM product
  • In-depth knowledge of the Health Care, Social Programs or Public Sector
  • Demonstrable, active and relevant business relations network in the Heath Care, Social Programs or Public sector
  • Experience in working in a large companies
