The Financial Planning (FP) National Office (NO) is responsible for defining and executing against the 5-year strategy and growth aspirations of the TD Wealth Financial Planning business. The team provides central strategy & support for over 1,100 Financial Planners located in TD’s branches, Wealth hubs, and over the phone, delivering:

  • 5-year vision and leadership of key strategic initiatives for TD Wealth Financial Planning
  • Programs and initiatives to drive acquisition, client retention, sales effectiveness, four pillar financial planning and legendary client experiences through our Financial Confidence by Design Strategy
  • Best-in-class centralized sales support for Financial Planners through a team of ~200 licensed Financial Planning Associates
  • Thought leadership and continuous delivery of improved end-to-end experiences for both Financial Planners and clients
  • Enablement towards growth of TD’s emerging phone based Financial Planning offering, FP Direct

Job Description

Involved with regulatory transformation project with specific initiatives related to Financial Planning. Responsibilities could include:

  • Working in a cross functional team (including change management, governance and control, product, and operations) to develop business impacts related to regulatory changes
  • Creating business level view of progress on project deliverables
  • Creating executive level updates on overall project

  • Strong relationship management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations
  • Interest/Knowledge of Wealth Business
  • Project Management experience

This position is a 4-month work term and will commence January 2021.
