Job Description

The Co-op will report to the Senior Manager, Ease of Doing Business. This job is ideal for someone who likes to work with a blank canvas and achieve exceptional results. The successful candidate will play an end to end role in leading a business to identify and implement process improvement opportunities, driving savings for the business. The candidate will need to work with other members of the team to ensure integration across Wealth – One of our missions is to drive consistency across Wealth.

Requirements

Assigned Line of Business Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus in business
  • Demonstrated ability to take independent action to achieve results – Self Starter / Motivator
  • Developing effective presentations for delivering results and driving strategic thinking to projects to execute
  • Strong relationship building skills – (Internal team, business stakeholders, project execution teams)
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access)
  • Strong business acumen: Ability to start at a high level and go deep to understand business problems
  • Overseeing key steps in the process improvement effort: the collection and analysis of financial and non-financial data, the development of solutions
  • Proven ability to work effectively with teams and individually
  • Facilitate various employee level meetings, discussions and workshops on current and future state process maps

Skills that are not required but considered an asset:

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Pro/Recruiter

Additional Information

This position is a 4-month work term and will commence January 2021.
