Job Description

The Wealth Product & Strategy Intern will perform a variety of activities which may include:

  • Data Science/ Advanced Analytics: Participating in projects supporting a broad range of data driven solutions by applying a variety of techniques to build out models.
  • Business Insight Analysis: Supporting the team by providing analytics and insights to recommend actions that will enable optimal business decisions and/or resolves complex business problems.
  • Visualization: Provide data visualization support by employing various techniques to support the business in interpreting info and communicating implications and /or recommendations to the business.
  • Business Intelligence: Designing/developing dashboards and scorecards to support business needs; ensure alignment of metrics across the organization.
  • Other:
    • Demonstrate strong initiative, and use strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills to add value to each initiative, project, or team you are assigned to.
    • Participate as part of a team with targeted deliverables, working on initiatives designed to improve decisions, processes, systems, and applications which support our key businesses.

Requirements

  • Majoring in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field.

  • Over 1 year of related experience

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and internet applications

  • Strong communications skills with positive personality and willingness to accept challenges

  • A strong analytical mind with attention to detail and desire to learn and grow

Assigned Line of Business Requirements

  • Strong statistical/analytics skills & interest will be necessary

  • Excellent verbal & written communication, with ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.

  • Working knowledge with programming and building VBA Excel Macros

  • Knowledge of Alteryx and SQL programming is a plus.

  • Experience with VBA, R, Python, Spark, Scala, or other programming languages is a plus
