Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Director, Engineering (Enterprise Systems) to join the Digital Transformation team within Technology & Data reporting to MD, Digital Transformation.   You will lead a technology engineering team that provides end to end solutions for core services team including Finance, Legal and HR.  Collaborating with our business partners you will be accountable for building, integrating and providing analytics capabilities supporting all aspects of our Finance, Legal and HR activities.  Working with colleagues across the organization, and you will:

• Build and grow a customer centric engineering team of diverse technologists to drive design, integration and implementation for transformational Finance, Legal & HR initiatives.
• Apply knowledge, leadership experience and engineering thought leadership to drive implementation and enable tools, processes, and controls to meet business needs
• Accountable for driving design & execution of significant projects through management of multiple direct reports and team members in a large, complex, multi-disciplinary group
• Drive innovative approaches to solution business problems, drive continuous improvement by implementing DevOps & agile development principles

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in a technology leadership role and experience in IT systems design & development
• Experience building enterprise web-based applications and integration with SaaS products, working in different programming languages and databases
• Experience with Oracle ERP/ EPBCS/PCMCS implementation, maintenance & upgrade a must
• Experience with HR systems like Workday, PeopleFluent etc. good to have
• Tech Full stack development experience including, but not limited to: Java/J2EE, Oracle, SQL Server etc.
• Experience building, growing, and developing high-performance engineering teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to various levels and writing reports for senior management levels
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, with interpersonal and communication skills suited to a professional and thoughtful corporate environment
• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently as well as to  perform effectively in a team oriented environment
• Exemplifies CPP Investments’ Guiding Principles of integrity, partnership and high performance
• Enjoys being a part of a culture of excellence, is flexible and constantly strives to innovate
• Strong knowledge and experience in all IT methodologies including Agile/SAFe
