Job Description Responsible for supervising and coaching Loss Prevention Professionals at the Ontario Hubs, GTA and Mount Hope Responsible for hiring, training and managing performance of employees as per security, operational and HR standards and indices Responsible for Managing MyCareer for direct reports Provide mentoring, training and support for the LPP Identify, resolve and or escalate security and personnel risks Responsible for scheduling, payroll and SAP entry Manage, respond to and follow up on all Loss Prevention Incident Reports (LPIR) Work collaboratively with Operations to support security of customers’ freight Assist the Security & Loss Prevention team with inquiries and investigations, securing of evidence (CCV footage, documents, found or seized items, etc.) Maintain Site Specific and General Standing Orders Complete Key Performance Indicator reports to ensure process compliance and quality Assist with customer freight audits, as needed Other duties and responsibilities associated with the security department Qualifications 3 to 5 years of security related experience 3 to 5 year of supervisory / leadership experience College education or equivalent is preferred Recognized security accreditation (CPO, CSS, CPP, CISSP, PSP, PCI) is an asset Experience in the courier / cargo / transport industry is an asset Energetic leader and ability to motivate a team Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent problem solving and decision making skills Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Must be able to work with a high degree of honesty and integrity Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel & Word Knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest Previous experience with CCV, access control and security systems Licenses Must possess class “G” drivers license Must possess Private Investigator’s and Security Guard License POSTING DETAILS Location: 563
